To spread the awareness on the importance of Covid-19 vaccination, Guru Gobind Singh College, Sanghera has organized two Covid-19 Vaccination Camp at the College Campus on 24 July and 29 July 2021. The vaccination camp has started under the guidance of Sh. Bhola Singh Virk (President, Management Committee) and Principal, Dr Sarbjit Singh Kular. These camps were co-organized by the Departments of NSS, NCC and Red Ribbon Club with the collaboration of Department of Health and Family Welfare, Punjab. Vice Principal, Prof, Tara Singh (Coordinator, Red Ribbon Club) told that we had also conducted a Covid-19 vaccination camp on the 24 th July 2021 in the college campus. During this time, members of the management committee, teaching and non-teaching staff members of the college vaccinated. NSS Officer, Dr Gurpreet Kaur addressed that we also conducted one more Covid-19 vaccination camp in the college campus on 29 July 2021. Further, NCC Officer, Dr Bhupinder Singh briefly explained that the second camp was particularly arranged for the students, family members of the staff and for the local people. Community Health Officer, Saroj Verma had told that approximately 80 person had vaccinated during both the camps. Lastly, Dr Sarbjit Singh Kular (Principal) expressed gratitude to the Department of Health and Family Welfare, Punjab and health team (Smt. Tarwinder Kaur, Smt. Kirpal Kaur, Smt. Sonia) at the college campus. In this camp, Dr. Raminderpal Kaur (HoD, Punjabi), Prof. Mandeep Kaur, Prof. Jagjit Singh (Librarian) and Sh. Tara Singh (Library Attendant) played pivotal role to arrange the vaccination camps in the college campus.
